So, where am I now? I realise that, though I like and respect who I have become, I am not the easiest person to form a new relationship with. I cannot stand public displays of affection – well, not from him, anyway. I love my family to hug and kiss me, my grand-daughters are all over me, but this is different and somehow makes me feel as though some sort of ownership bid is being made.
