When I joined the Champions Club Community I was struck by two things; the diversity of the Community Ambassadors involved and the shared passion they had for doing whatever they could to make a difference in the lives of their fellow human beings.  In fact, as we worked towards clarifying our shared purpose, “Make A Difference” was the singular phrase that appeared in every conversation I had.  Regardless of the particular background or interests of the individuals I interviewed, there was an urge to utilise their skills for the betterment of others – the bloggers and the film-makers wished to inspire, the trainers and the coaches wanted to enable, the web developers and the project managers sought to facilitate; in short, a compelling desire to do something tangible to positively impact the lives of others.

This was music to my ears.  I had been working with a small group of friends to develop my own social enterprise, which had aims very close to those of Champions Club Community.  We too had a vision of a platform through which people could provide and find help supported by a host of personal development and community building activities.  However, that vision needed people to become a reality and so to find a large group of people already working towards the same goals was in itself great; to find that they also shared the same values was hugely exciting.

“Inspiring and enabling all people to Make A Difference in their lives and the lives of others.”

Almost as soon as these words were captured and shared, the community seemed to be invigorated and focused.  Work progressed rapidly in every area, resulting in all that you see on this website today and much more in the pipeline.  The Community continues to grow with incredibly talented Ambassadors and Patrons joining the team all the time, a fact that fills me with hope and thanks.  Hope, that the vision will soon be realised and that ALL people will have access to life changing resources and thanks for the many thousands of hours that have been contributed already by ordinary people with extraordinary heart!
